We bought Exchange 2010 retail edition with 5 user CALs from them. They sent us an Exchange 2010 Volume License disk with no keys. We called and they said that the disk would "just work" even though we didn't have a license for it, the gentleman on the phone stated that we didn't need a license or key. The disk clearly stated "not for retail distribution - product key required". We called Microsoft and they explained to us that the software was pirated. You must have a license key for Exchange 2010. Microsoft explained to us that Softwaremedia.com was known for selling pirated material and that we should immediately do a charge back and that they would add this to their case they are building against Softwaremedia.com. When we placed our chargeback Softwaremedia.com said we needed to return the disk. We were fine with that, but when you use their return system and choose "will use our own postage" it wont allow us. We have repeatedly chosen the "request an airbill from us" option so that they can provide return postage and none has arrived. We have tried calling and only get an answering machine. It sounds like some of their stuff is legit but obviously some is not. I spent well over a decade in IT so I should have known better but it was a great price and they have some decent reviews so I thought it was worth a shot. Big mistake.
