Shipping issues - add in terrible customer service and communication

I placed an order with PSSL several weeks ago. The confirmation that was sent to me had an "Estimated Ship date" a week away, and "Estimated Delivery Date" that was 2 weeks away.
When I did not receive my merchandise after two weeks, I wrote them an email. I received a response back saying that the merchandise actually wont be available for **more than THREE MONTHS**.
This is not a slip of a week or two, this is a massive slip, and for a $300+ item. Why, oh why, did they not send me a message to correct the estimated ship date they already gave me? Why did *I* have to write *them* to find out about the delay after the original ship date had long passed? Very ameteur.
They did cancel my order immediately -- but because of the inferior customer service and non-communication here, I lost my entire 4-week timeline to make my purchase (Im going on tour and needed to have everything on the truck by a certain date). As a result, I had to pay $80 to have another vendor ship express (somehow it was readily available elsewhere). Im so angry at them and their templated responses.
I'd recommend if you dont really care about when you get something, you may be able to get a better price with these guys (of course check around first). Otherwise, stay away.
