The Leaf and The Breeze

The Bottom Line Don't let love drift away.
A brightly colored Leaf floats along with a gentle Breeze.
Watch them drift down onto the ground,
spin slowly, and settle down together.
See them dance in the light of the sun.
Together they sway this way and that
holding on to one another like lovers.
The Breeze lifts the Leaf and twirls it around
then softly and slowly lowers it
to the sidewalk where again they meet.
The Leaf and the Breeze stroll along.
The things they see, such lovely sights,
as they travel together through life.
Closer and deeper their bond becomes,
sharing intimate moments and secrets untold.
Protection and comfort are what the Breeze offers,
along with dedication and warmth.
In return the Leaf shares wisdom and strength
and an undying sense of adventure.
Each one a perfect fit for the other.
Then along comes the Wind, so exciting,
blowing through without a care,
catching the attention of anyone near.
Such carefree fun catches the Leaf
and carries it far way from the Breeze.
