I finally got to meet you and so many others!
It was great to see you in person after emailing and pestering you for all this time. Marlene was fantastic as well; I had a great time talking to her. I wish we could have stayed longer for the debauchery, but alas, we had an under-21 with us and thus couldn't stay for the gala.
I'm glad you didn't try (too hard) to murder me with your axe.

While Florida might be somewhat 'isolated' it certainly is a much better 'destination' than any place in the Midwest, even the windy city..!!
I think we all have our 'short lists' of peeps we would like to meet and you would certainly be on mine.

My wish too....One day *sigh* something might happen here in my silly city...guess we are too off the beaten path in Florida since we stick to far out into the sea without any real neighbors like you do in the Midwest...Oh well, I truly enjoyed reading this, you would be the one person I would so enjoy meeting, well a few others too..LOL

At first I thought you meant I had forgotten you in the essay . . .but no, from the MI-users shout-out earlier. Obviously my bad, and for someone I just met..!! There are simply so many great 'wolverine' users it is tough to remember them all. Hey, I thought I was doing good to remember how many caged tigers there were..!!
I am sorry we did not get to talk and interact more. I am sure if I had not been hanging with those other old-timers that a bit of guacamole-enhanced post-M'n'G festivity would have been nice indeed. ( But surely you have heard how nasty it is when the miss their Geritol nightcap . . .. ...:minism:... )

Yes, it really is a thing not to be missed, a M'n'G... As we recently discussed elsewhere, it really is enriching to be able to put a face, a voice, unique mannerisms with a user-name. The human soul is a dark place without interactions with others.

J/K. I *am* in the area, but I know some folks are just waaaaay too much fun. The unofficial Detroit M&G was a blast. Of course I had an infant and husband with me so I was a little more restrained.

What can I say..?? You were everything I expected and nothing like I expected. Certainly not the pensive young lady in your user-pic. You and Guy were definitely one of the highlights for me. Such _fun_ to be around.
I have a sister that lives in a Detroit suburb. One of these days I definitely will have to meet up with you and dramastef and uglybugg and hadassahchana and all the other great Michigan members. I do not know, it must be the water or something there because you all are just wonderful people, writers, and friends.

Yes, there were several moments where Danielle and I seemed to be catching each other in the act. It was quite silly at the time. Not sure whose picture(s) turned out better...
She and her 'friend'(?) Guy(?) were quite the delight. Exactly like I expected but nothing like I expected ...still trying to wrap my head around that one..!!
