Pros: fairly fast, like the keyboard

The Bottom Line: Would recommend to those with not much money, but there are better products out there.

| jjp4895's Full Review: HP Pavilion 6653C |
like the computer, but everytime my husband is online playing games it locks up. Often it locks up when I'm online doing genealogy research, just when I find what I'm looking for. Must say that's annoying. Also have some trouble with getting some plug ins to work right, like an Hp scanner, and an inlettimouse, but mostly can eventually get them to work. 15GB is not enough memory, ours is nearly full after just 1 year, with music and photos, and not nearly enough RAM. Have added 64mb ram card though, and that did help a little, but still locks up often. Would like to have a computer that doesn't do that once a day. Everyone I know has a HP Pavilion, and we had an older version of it, and have had this trouble with ALL of them. Funny how none of the epinions I have read here mention that, when everyone I know who has one has the same problem. Next year I'm trying a Compaq, my pal has one and never has this prob. Otherwise it's okay, I guess you get what you pay for.
