Attempted to book flights for party of four from Washington Dulles to Hawaii. Worked thru the booking process, selecting seats, inputting traveler information, credit card info and clicked purchase. Received Error Msg: "We may be experiending techical difficulties, either start your search again or try again later" We went thru this five times with no success. Later we discovered that each time we attempted to purchase the tickets Travelocity was putting a reserve on our credit card account for the price of four tickets - final was over the credit limit and then we finally got a credit card declined msg! Called customer service, no help - "Try back later" Asked for Supervisor - "we are updaing our flight schedules and prices so you will have to try back later." This was 10:00 AM to Noon on Sunday morning! I think he pulled this excuse out of thin air. No self respecting business would keep it's customers tied up in limbo during peak weekend hours. Supervisor was unable to provide any assistance other than to book the flights manually for an extra $30 per ticket, so we cut our losses and booked on Orbitz. There is no customer service on Travelocity. If all goes well it is a piece of cake but one hiccup and you are out of luck! Don't bother to take the risk try either Expedia or Orbitz they at least appear to trty to be helpful!
