UGH!!!
This company is a fraud, full of false advertising. They do not keep any books in stock. They are merely a MIDDLEMAN who sources the books AFTER your place an order. So their claim that a book is "Available" is not accurate. It means they might be able to locate the book and might be able to ship it to you in a few weeks (not the 24-48 hours they claim)
I placed an order on Sunday night. The confirmation page said I would receive an email confirmation immediately, and my order would SHIP in 24-48 hours.
Monday -- still no email confirmation. I called customer service to verify that my order was actually processed. They said it was and would be processed "sometime this week". I asked for the email confirmation to be sent/re-sent, and the agent sent me a screenshot of her system (not a legal document). I then spoke with her manager who said her agent was wrong, that the books would be sent out Tuesday or Wednesday and I should receive them by Thursday or Friday. I advise her to report to her IT department that the email confirmation was never sent out
Wednesday -- I finally receive the email confirmation of my order. The online status had not changed. I called customer service. They said that they just found out this morning from their Vendor that one of my books was Out of Stock, so they were holding the entire order until that came in stock (which was date unknown). They waited 3 days to find out if my book was in stock???? I asked if they could at least separate the order and send the rest of the books that were available. They said yes, but it would take "the system" a couple days to process it and it would ship out Friday. BTW, the website still listed all of these items as "Available and ships in 24-48 hours". Now they are telling me it might possibly ship in 5-7 days...
So I cancelled my order. I will only deal with Chegg in the future. Their prices are sometimes a bit more, but so much worth it to not deal with eCampus and their poor business practice.
