The Bottom Line We can teach our kids its not right to do the same thing and stear them in the right direction and maybe other children will follow.
This is the question my 8 year old daughter came home from school and asked me. Wow how do I answer this one, I asked myself. Well in todays world I told her we have all different kinds of people and we can only deal with it one day at a time. "WHY DO THEY PICK ON ME MOMMY?" I told her maybe because they don't know any different and all you can do is be nice and walk away from the situation. Yes I know for there age it is hard to walk away. In my case I got my daughter more involved in our church and she is now playing soccer. I am not saying this has solved all her problems with bullies, but it has helped with getting her involved with other children in the community. It helps to get our children involved in church and sports. They seem to interact better with kids outside of school. This may or may not help you, but it sure is helping my little Cierra. Way to go Cierra. Keep up your giving heart and keep your head held high and go for the GOAL!!!!!  |
