I made it! (Reply to this comment)

And only a day later than the late date I promised. Not bad for me. Here it is:
(this was the URL, but it's so long the box won't allow it! But it's the most recent review on my page - "Are You There, God? It's Me, Margaret")
Thank you so much for hosting this write off. I enjoy it immensely whether re-reading something from my childhood or discovering something brand new. It's always a pleasure -

I reviewed The Goats by Brock Cole and Fallen Angels by Walter Dean Myers. Hope you enjoyed the reviews as much as I enjoyed writing them!

Wonderfully done. Disbelief is all I can say regarding this series being challenged. I know, magic, witches, etc, but it's fantasy and a fun story. Thanks for the contribution.

Apparently Beth and I were working on reviews of the same book at the same time. Here's mine:

just realized how long that URL was. Not sure what to do about it! Let me know if you want me to delete the comment once you've noted the review in your list.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. http://www.epinions.com/review/Harry_Potter_and_the_Sorcerer_s_Stone_by_J_K_Rowling_and_illustrated_by_Mary_Grandpre_and_narrated_by_Jim_Dale/content_446644457092
I'd never reviewed it, and thought the combination of the 10th anniversary of its publication in the U.S., along with banned book week, was too good an opportunity to miss! (A fun challenge, since reams have been written about the book already....!)

Excellent Write Off (Reply to this comment)
by terrid
While I found this way too late to find a book and review it, I will take the time to read the submissions. I read the list of most requested books to be banned and I'm going to say about half were mandatory reading when I was in school. There is something really wrong with that! Obviously, there is something to be learned in those books.

Got it, thanks for submitting again this year. Isn't it "fun" to read outside of your comfort zone--oh wait you frequently do that.

There are still plenty remaining to be reviewed and I think a few have been added to the list. Look forward to your contribution.
