in particular deserves to be better known -- for the building and pre-Columbian art as well as for Rivera's.
Oddly, I have seen the mural in Detroit but not the one in San Francisco, where I have lived more than 30 years!

This is where I wish that you could display photos on Epinions.
Diego Rivera was indeed larger than life. His tempestuous on off relationship with his wife, Frida Kahlo is well documented.
I found a link to some of his paintings and an interesting little video of Diego with Frida.

I like those paintings; I have only seen one but enjoy the published books of Rivera's works. I was unaware of the Rivera out at the SF College - a good reason to get over there. Thanks for the tip.
(I think is was Mad Magazine that characterized the Boob as "Rockin Nelsonfeller")
