1. Where in my review did I "start claiming how well Consumer Reports identifies products"? NO WHERE!!! I just stated what Consumer Reports mentioned about the SI637 Quadra.
2. "... follow up in the next issue of Consumer Reports." The Consumer Reports issue was Feb. 2002 that did the report on the SI637 Quadra. What page in the March 2002 issue is the "apology to Sharper Image" and re-rating of the product?
3. "The SI637 Quadra is suppose to run 24 hours a day 7 days a week." I guess the keywords in this claim is "suppose to". As I stated or claimed in my review "the SI637 Instructions contradicts itself about how long the array needs to dry before replacing the array in the purifier. On page one, under Important Information - Please Read, paragraph one states, " ... If water is used to clean the array, please allow at least 24 hours for the collection array to dry." Yet SI637 Instructions page four, under Standard Maintenance, under second picture states, "The collection bars may also be washed under running water, but must be allowed to dry for at least 12 hours before returning them the to the unit."
And as I also stated or claimed "If 'the Ionic Breeze Quadra is DESIGNED to run 24 hours a day, every day of the year' then how does one clean the Ionic Breeze Quadra without turning off the unit and waiting at least 12 or 24 hours for the collection array to dry? Hence, the Ionic Breeze Quadra is DESIGNED to run 24 hours a day, every day of the year, except when drying the array for at least 12 or 24 hours."
4. "I have heard wonder stories of this machine ... ". And what hard measured facts support these "wonder stories" or are they just that "stories"?
