Well....I'm really left speechless by your comment. It's not that I don't believe that it can't happen, but rather, that you've seen it with your own eyes. That type of situation is extremely difficult....mentally excruciating, phsyically exhausting......but the least we can do is give the person a reason to continue living.
Life IS hard, and folks like this need all the physical, mental, and moral support they can get, because they value their own lives as much as the dirt in the ground.
