Not sure if that means you think I have good taste or not :-D but thanks for the compliment! Every list is likely ot be very different, at least if they're truly based on personal choices. The only real problem with a top ten is having to leave so many great films out!

Cheers,

There aren't many Top 10 of the 90's lists I'd expect to see with Sneakers, The Negotiator, and Galaxy Quest in them.

But that's why I like this list so much. It's not the same old stuff that I could have rest on any other list out there on the internet.

Hey Jan

I think it probably was, not something I've seen. I suppose there are people who don't like Benny & Joon, but I can't understand why!

Hey Pat!

Thanks for the Aussie film suggestions, ahvent' seen any of those. Emerald City springs to mind as one that was a lot of fun, even though it has some of the worst music in film history!! :-D

I look forward to reading your Top Ten sometime.

One of my favs too. Truman Show, Last of Mohicans are great fun. Haven't seen Shawshank. Wasn't Green Mile in the 90s?

If you are interested in other fine Australian films, I can think of five that predate the nineties, and introduced Americans to some fine talent: The Chant Of Jimmy Blacksmith, My Brilliant Career, Breaker Morant, Gallipoli, and The Road Warrior. As for me, I'd probably include work like American Beauty, Saving Private Ryan, and Boogie Nights. Maybe I'll make time to make some "Best Of" film lists. Thanks for sharing!

Yeah, it's very, very good but is it the best film of all time? Then again how can you even begin to pick one film out?!

The IMDB lists / ratings can be screwy, I was surprised when I looked to see that I agreed with most of these ones!

I look forward to your list! :-D

always surprises me to see Shawshank Redemption at the top of the IMDB list. Still I agree it's among the best of the 90's along with Schindler's List and Last of the Mohicans. As for the rest ...

I know I should write my own review
