Claire, yours is best suggestion in a long time.
For many years I have slept a couple of hours, then awake a couple..thru a night.
I do manage usually 4 hours..another nap maybe later in morning and sometimes a sleep in afternoon..
SO I do make good with about 6 hours sleep in 24 hours.
One "my doctor" told me thats fine...
another "my doctor" said I should try for all 6 at one time...
but I guess I'll stay here ..
where only smokers and many bad women drivers try to kill me..
so far I remain alive and kicking even with this crazy sleep pattern..
Stay in touch..
and thanks..

The best brainstorming happens @ 4:00 in the A.M.? Re: Re: Re: Re: You need... (Reply to this comment)

Hey Lou, Israel is 10 hours ahead, right? Perhaps you might could move to East Coast America (or even Western Europe?) so that your new sleep time can move with you to a more convenient time zone. On a more serious note, I hope that you're back on track with your zzzs this week.
Take care,
~Claire

Can you believe Rooibos tea has gained popularity in the US? Rooibos settles my stomach after dinner.
I bought a cuppa at Starbucks in Houston, and it is sold by the box at HEB, a large Texas supermarket chain... as for me, I always buy mine in S.A.... the one with the little kitchen scene and a clock on the packaging (forgot the name); R10 for a package of 25 bags!
Take care,
Regina

Regina, yes my favourite drink is Rooibos tea and every day I drink a few cuppa's at home.
Lets tell the readers that Rooi/bos is RED BUSH.
Rooibos is not available at the average coffeeshop..here in Israel, (altho a variety of herbal teas are.)
And carry on enjoying Rooibos and good ole Boschendal wines.
Thanks

texas-swede..yes I agree..make something from "time"..
and yes its nice to be lazy, and then regret having wasted some..time.
Later (this same day) the internet provider went to sleep for a few hours after lightning struck some important "wires" and I was forced away from computer for about 18 hours..
thats why I am late in replying.
Thanks for following
lou.

Sleepless nights (Reply to this comment)
by texas-swede
Sometimes you can't sleep and sometimes nothing can wake you up. It is better to make something out of a sleepness night instead of just trying to sleep, like you did.
You can always say belated good night, like you say belated happy birthday.
Thanks for a fun story.

you didn't have a good night's sleep, but selfishly, I enjoyed the entertainment your lack of sleep provided...
Thanks for the morning smiles!
