Don't waste your time - go to any other store

I placed an order online for five yards of fabric. The order shipped about two weeks later - not surprising since it came from their vendor. Did not have any issues until I tried to return the fabric. The person I contacted gave me a UPS account to use to ship the fabric back. Apparently, none of the UPS stores will let you use someone else's UPS account - so I had to pay out of pocket for that.
Of course, I brought this up to the customer service representative I was dealing with, and she assured me I would be reimbursed for the return freight.
After the item was returned (placed the order in May, returned the item in May) I never received any follow up regarding the refund to my card. I should also mention that the same week I made this on0line purchase, my credit card was stolen. I don't really buy things online, so I was surprised when mny card was stolen. I sort of wrote it off and figured it was a one-time thing. Amazingly, a friend of mine had the same experience two days later. Perhaps it's a coincidence.
So now, here it is, four months later, and Joann.com is telling me they never got paid by my credit card company. I faxed over a copy of my original order, a copy of the credit card statement showing where I charged, a copy of the receipt showing I shipped it back- all of it not good enough to get them to refund my money. So instead of the customer service person emailing me back to say it's not sufficient- she turns me over to a "loss prevention specialist." Meaning they think I am trying to steal from them. Way to trust your customers! Btw- if I was trying to steal it, why wouldn't I just keep the fabric?
In the future, I will never use Joann.com website again. I will also go out of my way to never use their brick and mortar stores either. Given the rude behavior of their website group- there is no chance I will EVER deal with them again. I highly recommend no one else does either. Unless you plan on waiting a few weeks for it to be delivered, and don't plan on returning it or having a problem. They won't fix it, will call you a thief, yell at you, then not bother to actually solve the problem.
