Hilarious! Perhaps in the T.O. inspired next list, that'll be included.

Ha Ha! I hope you'll review that, because I would laugh my a*s off. That is just way too funny. And yes the Jehovah's crew would ruin the fun.

Have you ever seen the picture of mooning guys in hard hats on a powerline? It says underneath "This is what the power company thinks of you!" I couldn't agree with this picture more, its probably under google images if you haven't seen it. Monopolies suck, and they deserve their #1 spot on this list.

Fun reading (Reply to this comment)
by texas-swede
I had some good laughters while reading this. It was fun.

I also really hate the monopolies. Their customer service is typically infinitely horrid, and they don't care if you hate it. I hate the way my gas company, Atmos energy, has treated me, and I cannot switch. My only choice is to switch to electric heating.

Regarding #2. There is no reason to be afraid of going to Hell. Hell has nice fjords, beautiful mountains and women, and the summers are cool. The only problem with Hell is that it freezes over in winter, but you just need to dress appropriately. Perhaps you should not have invited the Jehovas wintnesses you met to Hell, they might spoil the fun.

One day I am going to write a travel review on Hell.

Do I have the legal permission to do that? Ha Ha. Yes, the taser will be used liberally, much in tradition of the Commonfilth of Massachusetts.

I am all in favor of your taser. Use it liberally and often on stupid people everywhere!

Great list!

Freak,

I was hoping you'd do this list, and title it "Things that Suck" in lieu of your awesome Werther's review that just made my day. Don't worry about the high school book report, or laundry list of things, because I'd love your perspective on this. Even if it does take up an encylopedia set.

And by the way I'll have the most annoying sound ready when you call!

by Freak369
It's always nice to have more comments than ratings. If I started writing these I wouldn't be able to stop at ten so I'd have to do sub-categories and it would look like a high school book report. There are days that I think it would be easier to list the things that I like .. or at least tolerate.

So look forward to a phone call from me trying to sell you something while you are eating dinner ... I'll be calling from my Smart car as I wait in line at a drive-thru Starbucks and make out my monthly donation to PETA. (that was sarcasm)

Pigeon airlines..ha ha. Hope it works well, because I got some tasing to do. Where's that Smart Car, being driven by a Trader Joes shipmate with that awful uniform, playing "Jump" by the big band experience, and paying for someone's drink at the drive through?

That is hilarious, and actually proves a point I've been thinking about. Nothing against higher education, because it is important, but a lot of people with advanced degrees tend to have no common sense. Its great being able to come up with the formula for pi at a seconds notice, but you can't tie your shoes?

That is just funny, and the world would be nervous about the Cambridge Council's decisions. Sounds a bit like Malibu California's stupid declarations. Some of them were just so ridiculous, and imposed on people's civil liberties. The peoples republic of Mass is a lot like the people's republic of maryland. Right now, with the economy in a flux, their legislators have been concerned about "truck nuts" and have been arguing about banning them.

Julie,

I'm hoping that Epinions will be kind enough to give everyone tasers! Maybe there could be a taser writeoff, involving the ten things I hate category.

It was good to get some stress off, and I'm so thankful to Lyoness913 and criteeker for being kind enough to get this rolling. I'm hoping others will do this, because it was actually very therapeutic. And don't worry about the annoying noise from that movie, I have it ready to go the next time they call.

Perhaps you are right, that should be my Epinions picture. A polka dot bikini and a mocha cappuchino at the drive through!

It's a "used" taser but hasn't lost its zing. Pigeon Airlines leaves at 11AM so you'll be receiving an email following this with arrival time and instructions for use....

Have fun! :)

Massachusetts did you?

Sounds like some of your peeves are things I dealt with growing up in the Peoples Republic of Massachusetts. Used to have the Greenpeace folks show up at least once a year and if I was there now I'm sure PETA would be everywhere.

I remember the city council for Cambridge (home to MIT and Harvard) would issue these declarations from time to time calling for unilateral nuclear disarmament and other such nonsense like some mini version of the Hague or the UN.

I'm sure world leaders throughout the globe quake in fear that they might end up in the bad graces of the Cambridge city council.

I know you've been stressed, so I'm glad you were able to get at least 10 things off your chest. I'm so exhausted now from laughing my patoot off.

While I would love to comment on each peeve, I'll just mention #3, Credit card company calls--I can actually make that "most annoying sound" from Dumb & Dumber! Just let me know if you'd like me to send you a .wav file so you can play it next time they call. Or, you can get a whistle!

Can I borrow Dusty's Taser after you're done with it? I only want it if it's the kind that shoots out darts, though. :P

Hey Dusty,

Sorry if I use it extensively up here in VA, but those Smart Cars, Drive Throughs, and Terrible songs being played at the Trader Joes require heavy usage. I will return it, with a lot of miles on it. Sorry if the resale value won't be so good,

Re: I could live with that Taser law.... (Reply to this comment)
by toiletoctopus
Mark,

Where's the Shmoo and Rkingfish administration. Perhaps they could push that law through faster, than the California Legislature could. I think Smartcar drivers should always be eligible for a taser, and if I see one of those in the left lane, I'm going to bring Bonecrusher from the Transformers to run them over.

I could live with that Taser law.... (Reply to this comment)
by mrkstvns
But I'd also want a law that lets me bump the car bumpers of slowass old men in hats driving 10 miles below the speed limit in the left lane of interstates.

(We could make it 5 mph lower if they're in Smart cars.)

Extremism in anything, including religion is a bad thing. Don't worry about being blacklisted, as some of my friends are very religious, but understand that it should not be imposed. In fact, they are right, that they don't need to advertise their faith to know how strong it is.

The moral majority crowd I dislike, because they use religion to promote hatred of people, start wars,hurt/kill others, etc. I will never turn my back upon my friends of all faiths, or if they do or don't believe in a higher power. However, I will send out the hounds on the whacko's who want to call me a heathon and a evildoer.

I was going to mention "Religious Loons" on my list but thought the uptight religious crowd on Epinions might not be able to handle my opinion on the subject and black list me. So I refrained.

Summer,

Well at least with that much snow I could understand. Plus they serve donuts which Starbucks obviously wouldn't be cool enough to do! You've started something awesome, and I hope more will do this, becuase it is a lot of fun. And stress relieving!

Yes the Moral Majority crowd really irritates me. The way I see it, the Constitution was clear about the separation of church and state, and that freedom of religion means let and let live. If someone wants to worship Vacuum cleaners, let them, as long as they don't commit crimes and/or hurt anyone. Yet these God Squad folks are its my way or the highway and that really gets old. Then again, it may have to do a lot with them constantly showing up early or when eating dinner.

Send out the hounds!

Claire,

Your Jehovah's Witnesses are kinder then, especially with those pens. Perhaps I would not send the dog out when they show up, if they would at least hand me a pen, so then I could thank them at least for their "thoughtfulness."

Look what I have started...

(gulp)

I don't want to tase anyone...LMAO..

You Americans kill me. They have had drive through windows at Tim Horton's (Biggest coffee/doughnut franchise in Canada) for at least 15 years. I think the Canadian rationale is the fact that no one wants to get out in 2 feet of snow to grab a coffee. It seems to have caught on..

And I hate the God Squad too.
