I love my blinds.com 3/8" double cell light filtering honeycomb shades (color -- Daiquiri -- which perfectly matches the paint on my accent wall). They are stunning. I always get the top-down bottom-up feature so that if I want I can see out and still have privacy. This is the first time I ordered the blinds.com brand and was pleasantly surprised by the price and the quality. My husband always installs them and it seems to be fairly simple.
Before I would always order another brand (initials HD) from blinds.com. Then when HD quit selling thru blinds.com I made one last order -- it was a disaster, I measured wrong and HD forgot to put top-down-bottom on one. There were shipping issues every time. Jay (the CEO) and the customer service people at blinds.com stepped in and sorted it out. There are very few companies that I get consistently excellent results and service from, but blinds.com is one.
I am about to order some more shades, we bought a old big house and I am futzing around getting the right color to match some curtains I already have. I do recommend to get the color swatches first before ordering; blinds.com will send them for free. Hold them up to the light, make sure the color is right.
