Great List! (Reply to this comment)
by bilbopooh
I saw eight of these, and four are on my "best of" list (which I haven't posted yet). Really want to see Amazing Grace. And I agree I didn't mind them cutting out some of the teen angst in HP, though other omissions seemed more troublesome...

I don't think Amazing Grace got a very big release, and Becoming Jane probably only had a decent-sized release in the UK.
I look forward to seeing what you choose! Transformers for No.1 though... how could you?!?! (I thought it was okay, but nothing more...)

I haven't done my "tops" list for 2007... (Reply to this comment)

but I anticipate having a difficult time. I seem to remember not liking many movies that year. Transformers would likely be number one. Atonement was also okay. Oooh... was Juno that year?
I haven't seen your numbers 1, 5, or 10 yet.

I didn't know you were still around - haven't seen you around these parts for ages!
Welcome back! (Well, if you were actually gone... I know how unobservant I can be!!)

Despite working in a video store for all of 2007 and most of 2008, the only one I've seen here is Harry Potter, and yes, I was relieved they cut some of the teenage angst from the movie. I really had a hard time getting through that book.
