It is sad that story such as Andrew's or Paul's are all too common today. I'm sorry to hear about your loss - it is always terrible to have someone close taken away from you, especially by something like leukemia (which we should be able to cure!) And thank you for your support. Hopefully we can all join together to fight this terrible disease.

to read about Pauly. Leukemia has indirectly impacted my family. Andrew McDonough was a 14 year old soccer player we encountered at numerous tournaments. Andrew was a strong and healthy 14 year old who just wasn't "feeling well". Sadly what they suspected was appendicitis, was sepsis from undiagnosed leukemia. Doctors didn't expect him to make it through the night, but he fought valiantly for almost 6 months. I would be happy to support your cause...
