The Bottom Line whimsy
I am a child sometimes; even though I'm 42 I am a daughter, a cousin, a niece I've been strong and I've been weak I am a heart that clings to hope and faith A soul that still sings "Amazing Grace"
I am afraid and I am brave I am alive with passion and promise I am dying with each passing moment I am sincere while I wear a phony smile I am warm and I am cold A tear falls down without a sound While I laugh and smile Resisting the urge to cry
I am patient and I am impulsive Passionate and mellow Happy and sad Gloomy & Glad
I am the wind, blowing through the distance Alive with furious imitations of a dance Determined to bring delight Through the dismal insight Into a apathetic life
I am the craving for imagination The yearning for intuition The seed of change And the resistance To any alteration
I am the one who writes letters That are torn up and burned Never read by their recipient
