is on my Mt. TBR, and I've heard good things about the Scalzi book; but not a lot of support for Saturn's Children. The only thing I've read on the list is The Vorkosigan Companion, which was pretty darn good. Montreal -- hmmm, I could actually get there... Thanks for posting this. -- Telynor

That might be a good fight. Stephenson's up against Gaiman, who's a strong fan favorite. I've heard one of the tougher SF critics complain about how tough Anathem was to read.
We'll see how the voting goes in August.
