Hello. welcome to my review of the hotel chain AmeriHost. I hope you'll find this review helpful. I will point out a couple things here first before reading. You MUST have an open mind if you are rating a hotel, and you MUST be prepared for the end result. You also MUST have a general knowledge on the managment process of a hotel and other buisnesses so you have something to compare to.
This has brought up this rating for the hotel chain AmeriHost Inn.
As I entered the hotel through one of the side keycard doors on New Years' Eve, I noticed it was really neat looking inside like all hotels are, kinda looks the cross between a buisness and a house, basically like all hotels are. As son as we got there, Me and my mom decided to get somehting form K-Mart accross the street. So we got our stuff that we needed from K-Mart and we got some food from the Burger King that was across form K-Mart. So as we headed back, one of the hotel people said "hi" to me and mom and we said "hi" back. We felt kinda wierd because we lived just 30 miles away form where we lived and we was staying at A hotel! Ok enought jibber, let's get to the parts that matter shall we?! Then we decided to go to the pool. It was cool getting to swim in a nice heated pool in the middle of the winter when it was 30 degrees outside. the pool was a little to tiny and too warm but it was still refreshing. next I tried to hot tub out and it was just liek any other hot tub in a hotel, no real stories about it.
Then as the evning rooled on me and my little brother were in the hallway and he was driving around his remote controlled PT Cruiser and people really admired it. We was really hyper that night! then when I got into the got tub again I was in it for half an hour! I got really sick and I got really dizzy. Then they threw a little new years party! That was nice of them! No other hotels in cambridge, ohio ( where we stayed at) had nothing going on for New years! Heck, no other hotels were wanting us to stay at them for new years, they had really wierd excuses for us not to stay! Nice of AmeriHost! Well they noticed me waling kinda funny and they knew I stayed in the hot tub too long and the manager asked If I was ok and I said "yes" and she laughed with me about it! They are pretty nice there.
Then we got back to the room and we ordered "scary movie" and it was really funny! Then about midnight we turned on the MTV countdown and we went into the new year with MTV! Yay! Then at about 3 AM my brother ordered the movie " bring it on" and I really liked it. It was the only cheerleading movie I have ever liked. well enought about the movies, I could not go to sleep until like 5 AM and I had to wake up at about 8.
In the forst morning of the new year, I got up and ate some of thier good Contenental Breakfast and I ate with mom and dad and talked, then they went back into the room and me and my little brother got our 5th cups of coffee. I accedentally spilled soem on my new khakis and I was mad and the same manager lady asked Is I was ok and I said yes. she looked concerned. then we got ready to go and we left about 10 AM I didn't want to leave all ready. Itr was a very nice night that I'll never forget. Overall my only complaint was the pool! I had a very nice time that new years 2000-2001!
