Thanks for the comment. I agree that moms around the world definitely earn at least 1 special day a year. My mother is no acceptation having to deal with me and my brother growing up that's for sure lol.

I feel the same way you do...one does not need a special day to celebrate how much one cares. However the gesture of Mother's Day was a nice one to come into existence.
I knoiw a few mothers who get to go out to eat once a year and that is just on Mother's Day.
I knew a busy busy person who needed not only the "coaxing" of their friends on other days but needed Mother's Day to wake up and smell the roses...to take time off from work and see his mother!
I'm sure your Mom will enjoy her Mother's Day. That sounds like a great place to visit and spend time together.

Thank you for the comments. I agree about the gift cards! My nephews are impossible to buy for because they are so picky on what they want. I just get them gift cards for the holidays and their B-Days and let them get what they want. I'm safe that way lol.

...is a very lucky lady!! What great sons she has.
When all else fails, gift cards are great too. If any of my kids ask me this year that is what I'll tell them I want...I love Applebee's...so getting to go without having to pay would be a treat.
