My late grandmother's favorite saying in times of trouble was, "This too shall pass."
And it will. It may seem hard now, and I'm sure it is, but know that you have folks you don't even know in person who are praying for you and here to help you carry your burden, even if it is from a distance.

Jeff,
Worry not about us! Do what you have to do and when and if there is time and motivation to do your thing here, then do it as a thing you want to do and not an obligation or duty to do it.
I'm sure that things will get better. Things seem to happen that can send us into deep despair. But, I am convinced that things happen for a reason and in most case, after a while and looking back - for the better. You will never know it until sometime in the future.

Life sucks and then you die. It's ok. We have all been there. Misfortune strikes us all. There are days when simply getting out of bed seems like more trouble than its worth. Other times, we would give anything just to be able to get out of bed. Sometimes, we feel if we can just get one aspect of our life back to normal, and everything else will get in line. Funny thing is that it often works.
Just keep writing and marching forward. Why? Why not? If life is going to take pot shots at us, we may as well be a moving target. I hope things get better soon.

You are not alone. We give our all to epinions until sometimes life gets in the way. I have 2 parents now with Alzheimers and it is draining and time consuming.

I don't think anybody needs to apologize for lack of activity here; it's not like it's a full-time job with mandatory obligations. I've barely participated myself lately. My activity on other sites (such as Wikipedia) has also ebbed and flowed. When you're paid very little (like here) or nothing (like on Wikipedia), one can't expect any level of participation beyond what happens to suit your inclination to pursue it as a hobby at any given time.
