Hey Flash,

Thanks for the encouraging comments. Last week, a wave of Japanese nostalgia swept over me, so I was compelled to put my thoughts to text. I don't know when #4 will come out, but I think it will be soon.

Anyway, life has been good. My wife and I moved into our new house last month, clearing escrow after several weeks of drama. Now, we're finishing up projects to fix up minor issues with the house. Other than that, I finished up my third semester of grad school last month and now have a much desired break. My oldest son is finishing kindergarten, and my youngest is set for preschool.

It's great to see that you've gotten a new gig. Your previous company laid off a buddy of mine last year after he worked nine years for them. How's the Irvine commute?

Write me at my old email address. It's good to connect with you again.

Thanks for finally writing parts 2 and 3 of your JET adventure. You have an uncanny ability to really pull the reader in. I loved the section on classifying JET folks in specific classes.

Now I need to go and read part 3.

BTW, how's life treating you? I just started a contracting gig with Allergan in Irvine that should last until about the end of the year. So far, so good.
