We are well and truly in the middle of spring about now - I guess you on the other hand, are getting prepared for another winter. Hope it is a good one!

I don't even want to think of winter after last year's New England's worst.
Then spring and summer were cold up until mid July. Now it looks like a cool then cold Autumn.

It's freezing at the moment, we are having a cold snap ... brrrr! It's always this time of year that thoughts of moving to Australia are very, very appealing !!

....NZ winters. I have heard they can be quite nasty.
Its funny how I always complain about the coldness of winter in Sydney and Melbourne (when I am there) at the moment yet almost always forget that its much, much colder in NZ.
