From reading the other reviews here on RockAuto, you need to be careful what you order from them. That said, whenever I order parts of any kind, I make sure I know what I am getting. Generally, I will look at the part on the manufacturers website to make sure that it will fit if it is not an OEM part. I never used to buy car parts online unless it was something I couldn't find locally. However, more and more I am ordering from RockAuto as their shipping is timely and they almost always beat the local part store prices with maintenance parts as well as more involved parts. In some cases, they have parts that the local store doesn't even list in their books.
I find their site easy to navigate and most of the items have pictures. They seem to have their act together with the status of parts. They tell you whether or not a part is in stock. If it is not in stock, they give you an approximate ship date. That's what all sites need to have.
On a more recent order, I received a part that didn't appear to be correct even though the box it was in stated the correct part number. After sending them a little bit of info such as the etchings in the part, they promptly sent me out a replacement.
