even of American movies, but since I got scoffed at for including "Fried Green Tomatoes" on my list of favorites, and was more enthusiastic than most about the move version of Norman Maclean's great book, I can cope!

The film is set in the town of Missoula, Montana
That's where I live. Well worth a visit some time in your life, because it's gorgeous and full of nice, clean air and good people. Here's a great webcam shot of downtown:
