The Bottom Line 50 glimpses into vast unimportance.

As I am far from a seasoned Epinions member, I thought participating in this list might provide a jolting ice-breaker. I swiped the concept from a best-loved user by the name of ddustyrose. If I'm not mistaken, its derivative was a trend on Facebook (which I have too great of a social deficit to use). Without further ado, "50 Things"

1. High heels or boots? Boots, with all confidence. Incremental bonus for each year of wear.

2. What time did you get up this morning? 9:06 A.M. Slept in after a 5 hour music gig on 4-inch heels (bloody marathon).

3 What is your favorite TV showI love old variety shows... But, in a more contemporary vein, "Whose Line" (BBC) and "Whose Line is it, Anyway?" (ABC) are beloveds.

4 What do you usually have for breakfast? Varies dramatically. This morning, a muffin with raw almonds and blueberries.

5 What is your middle name? I'll abstain from mentioning.

6 What food do you dislike? I inherited my father's almost mechanical tolerance of odd dishes... But, generally, organ meats give me the heebies.

7 What is your favorite CD at the moment? David Bowie's "Hunky Dory" album, upon revisitation, is granted a great deal of air play.

8 What characteristic do you despise? Insincerity

9 If you could go anywhere in the world on vacation? "Where" is never so vital as "with whom"

10 Are you an organized person? Surely you jest.

11. Where would you like to retire to? Beach. I'll spare you the mawkish details.

12. What was your most recent memorable birthday? None. I tend to downplay their presence.

13. What are you going to do when you finish this? Bed, for heaven's sakes.

14 Furthest place you are sending thisCertainly not to "The New Yorker"

15 Person you expect to send it back first? Invalid question.

16 When is your birthday? March 10th

17. Morning person or a night person? Depends on my whim.

18 What is your shoe size8 - 8 1/2

19. Any Animals? Kismet, a Blue Heeler. Three boorish kittens.

20 Any new and exciting news you'd like to share? This seems like a deliberate ploy to belittle the respondent. (Sour? Only because my answer is "no".)

21 What did you want to be when you were little? Nonexistant.

22 What is your favorite flower? Roses, by far.

23 What is a day on the calendar you are looking forward to? None worth noting here.

24 What was the last thing you ate? Naturally More peanut butter.

25 Do you wish upon stars? Only if they're sprocketing across the sky.

26 If you were a crayon, what color would you be? Yellow.

27 How is the weather right now? Muggy and inclement.

28 Last person you spoke to on the phone? Shift manager at a local grocery store. He was unable to furnish a supply to my question.

29. Favorite soft drink? Cabernet Sauvignon isn't "soft", but...

30 Favorite restaurant? Olive Garden.

31. Hair color? I'm a brunette.

32 What was your favorite toy as a child? A sketch pad and a deluxe crayon set.

33 Summer or winter? Location would determine that.

34. Chocolate or vanilla? Chocolate, if it's low-quality, a la Easter rabbits.

35 Coffee or tea? Maxwell House coffee.

36. Favorite food? Pork. In any distortion.

37 Do you want your friends to reply? If I write them a letter, then pointedly so.

38 When was the last time you cried? Two nights ago.

39 What is under your bed? Berber carpet.

40 What did you do last night? Made music in a wine bar.

41. What are you afraid of? I'd rather not say.

42 Salty or sweet? Just now? Sweet.

44 How many years at your current job? As a musician? The duration of my life.

45 Favorite day of the week? Friday.

46. Positive or negativePositive.

47 How many people will you send this to? Invalid.

48. How many will respond? Only those who are exceedingly brave.

49. Do you like finding out all this stuff about your friends? Of course... Though, these 50 questions weren't as evocative as I would have liked.

50. What do you do for Fun? Painting.

Kudos for making it this far. Valiance thus tested, you have proven your mettle.

Feel free to keep this chain going. If you post a reply hyperlink in the comments section, I'd be glad to offer my warmest receptions.
