A dull tool in your home or shop is a dangerous tool. For a small investment in dollars and time you can keep all your tools sharp.

That would be a wonderful way to remind you of your mother. I have a couple of things around more because it reminds me of Mother than for the usefulness. The same goes for some tools my Father had.

Professional sharpening is a good idea. It is not really expensive and once it is sharp it is pretty easy to keep it that way.

My deepest sympathy on your loss.

Hi Larry,

Not sure if you've heard or not but my mother died on June 30th (it's OK, I'm doing better). We went through some things in here house and I found this really, really old kitchen knife and yes, it's very dull! I had no idea what I was going to do with it as I was pretty sure my sharpener wouldn't do the job. I had pretty much decided to just "put it up." I'm thinking I'll see about having it professionally sharpened and use it.

Thanks so much.
