I don't know where you will be landing, but if you get an opportunity to see Acropolis in the moon light or a south Cretan beach (tranquil). Kos and Korfu has become overwhelmed by Germans and Swedes, well I am not going to be there so it is a little less.

It has been a great privilege for me to get to know you and read your reviews as well.
I have been out of town for a while so my activity has been low a few days. Today is the epinions anniversary, and epinions is a great place. There are many wonderful people here.

It's hard making it through the first year here -- but I'm glad that you've stayed and hope to see many more reviews from you in the future. As a sidebar, I'm going on my first European trip next month, but by cruise ship (my old bones don't travel as well as they used to), and Italy and Greece are among the stops. Yeah Google translate is not perfect. Literaly it means "I hope you have a big anniversary", however, that is easy to understand. I'll bet you wrote "great" not "big".

Yeah there are many amazing places I had to skip, not because they did make on the list, but because I have not been there.
Minor point, technically Iceland is not part of Scandinavia (Norway, Sweden, Denmark), however, it is part of the Nordic countries and the Nordic Union (Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Iceland).

Yep it is a really cool place. The kids laid there in their sleeping bags and on their reindeer hides and were all excited about being in an all snow and ice room. It was a real adventure for them. Then when we went on a dog sled ride and the dogs pooped while running, that was a laugh out loud moment for them.

would be on my list (but I haven't been anywhere but Iceland in Scandinavia and part of it is on the North American tectonic plate).
The major historical sites in Istanbul ore in the European half... and England is an island, so London can be exempted from accusations of being excluded.
