Pros:Powerful, Convenient, HEPA, Well Made.....
Cons:It Could use a few more tools
The Bottom Line: It really boils down to suction. No other upright has more suction than the tri-force system of Panasonic. I love the Cord Reel.

I'd like to start off my review by saying that epinions helped in directing my purchase of the Panasonic MC-V7387.
I am a research fanatic, and enjoy the hunt for product data as much as anyone.

This vacuum is fantastic. No kidding. I'll get to that in a minute.

What really sold me on this vac though was going to a local professional vacuum supply store. After spending the better part of an hour trying out a variety of high dollar vacuums, and talking to the manager, I asked the simple question: "For the money, Which vacuum here is your favorite?" The answer surprised me. He told me that he and the gal in back both clean the store with a Panasonic Platinum Vac. (very similar to 7387, but with less options)

I was very interested in why. Both the manager and his assistant told me they like this vac best, the tri-force motor, the automatic height adjustment, and the fact that it has a good HEPA system. The manager went on to tell me that when his wife came in to get a new vac, she was allowed to get anything in the store, she took home 4 different vacs and kept the Panasonic, and loves it! (mind you, this store has many vacs in the $400-$1,100 range)

Well after looking into a lot of different web sites, and reading on CFM's and etc., I was sold on the Panasonic.

This baby sucks, in a good way. I love the auto cord retractor, and the hard floor option, as we have maple floors in our kitchen and foyer.

Anyway, for the money paid ($195.00), this vacuum is amazing.

The first time we used it, we filled half the bag with extra dog hair, dust, dander, and we had vac'd with our 7 year old Bissel just days before.

I have noticed an improvement on my allergies, and I love not having dog hair stuck to my sox when I put my shoes on. Sounds gross, but we have two Golden Retrievers, you can't pick up the hair fast enough.

The only negative I can think of is in the tool department. It needs a nice dusting tool, and I would opt for a "turbo" style brush for upholstery, etc.

I would challenge anyone to find a better vac for the money, as would the people at our local vac store.
