I thought you did a great job wrapping up the VMAs. I loved the tribute to Michael Jackson. I thought it would have been longer, but I still liked it. I missed what Kayne did to Taylor Swift, but I did hear about it a lot.

What about Common? Where was Common? His girl gets to be on the VMAs and not him? And if Serena beat Clijsters and Serena wasn't available, would Clijsters have taken her spot, or would've they just let Estelle come in as the mysterious third Williams' sister?

Well, I knew exactly what I was saying and I don't care if anyone is uncomfortable. I've become a bit more nihilistic these days. I might be accused of racism but don't we all have some form of prejudice somewhere. If someone calls me a slur, I wouldn't be offended because it's just a word to me. I no longer see things in color of someone's skin but if that individual will make him/herself foolish for some selfish reason. Then I will have to be degrading. You might not agree with this but that is exactly how I feel.
Personally, I would just rather beat Kanye West with a f*ckin' hammer and bash it against his f*cking teeth so he can learn to shut the f*ck up.

Though I must say that I'm pretty out of touch with a lot of the people that were playing and I'm kind of glad. MTV plays videos?
The MJ tribute was great and I did see Muse (only because their current touring keyboardist is Alessandro Cortini, former NIN keyboardist).
I heard what Kanye did and you know what. For all of his antics about he should win this and that and now what he did to Taylor Swift because she beat Beyonce.
I'm sorry but the Southern in me wants to lynch his *ss for what he did to Taylor. The guy has no respect for anyone and he dares claim to call himself the King of Pop. Sorry but I'm going to take this n***er out.
Beyonce was cool to let Taylor have her moment. She's got class and I did like that video. At least she won Video of the Year and not complaining about it.
BTW, last's night WWE pay-per-view was sh*t. I only read the results because like many, can't afford to watch WWE. I ended up watching True Blood which was hella-cool!

Great write up! I'm disappointed by how different MTV is now--I remembered when it had a variety of different music and the celebrities were actually cool. It's pretty sad that I don't know who most of those musicians are :(
