I'm so sorry for your loss... (Reply to this comment)
by chelledun
This sweet article was particularly meaningful to me at this time. We adopted a wonderful brother/sister duo cat. Our female sadly had to be put asleep about two months ago because she contracted an unusual auto-immune disorder.
We thought we (and her brother) would never be over it, but for his sake brought a new kitty into the house rather quickly and it has actually been a match made in heaven. I felt guilty at first for "moving on" so quickly, but then I figured that we might as well provide a home for another needy animal now that we have the space.

The loss of a pet is so sad. But Mimse-leh and Killer had great lives, thanks to you and your wife.

I'm very sorry for your loss. I've got a big lump in my throat from reading this loving tribute. I agree, no matter how big or how small, our pets touch us more than we can ever imagine.
Be Well,

Your loving cat is in heaven now.
The article you wrote will surely convince someone else to take in a stray cat.
Killer's legacy will now live on for years to come thanks to this touching story.
In fact, my avatar photo is of a stray cat that has become my friend over the past few months.

Killer all the love he needed! I'm sorry that you had to say goodbye. We animal lovers know how awful it is --- they're family and it hurts. No kitty will take Killer's place, but just maybe another will worm their way into your hearts...
