The Wide World of Blogging

The Bottom Line Thanks for reading!
So I have finally decided to give the world of blogging a try. I used to love to write in high school and college and signed up for just about any English or creative writing class they offered. In high school I was in charge of the school webpage and sports section so I got to do a lot of sportswriting for the school's teams which was a lot of fun and really enjoyable. I played 4 sports so I was pretty involved with athletics and I also covered the less popular high school sports like swimming and wrestling so my articles were pretty well received.
In college Epinions was basically the source of my writing outlet when not writing papers for my english classes. Looking back now I wish I had majored in English or broadcast journalism and pursued a career in sports writing since it would have combined two things that I love, writing and sports. I was thinking the other day that I love to write so I needed to do something to re-awaken my creative side. There are some nerves associated with blogging, obviously the fact it's out there for the public to read and all that, but I figure it's no big deal.
So anyways, I'll get to the bottom line. I have started a sports blog using my tagline from my high school days when I ran the sports page. It's called Shuk's Spotlight on Sports and fill feature content based around all sports, mainstream or the obscure, college, pro, etc. I think it will be a fun way to get back involved with writing. So before I go off on too much of a tangent, here is the work in progress:

Feel free to check it out and let me know what you think. I'd welcome any comments or advice from people who have their own blogs or have any experience.
