The Bottom Line my first post in many months

Stagnant is a 90-degree day in July with no wind, oppressive humidity, and a blazing sun.
Refreshing is a 60-degree day in October, a stiff westerly breeze, and maple leaves dancing across the street.
Stagnant is an academic lecture in a stuffy room and a monotone voice.
Refreshing is an eloquent speech with lively anecdotes and imagery.
Stagnant is a bureaucratic meeting with big words and cumbersome diction.
Refreshing is a stimulating encounter with a group of friends who understand you.
Stagnant is a corporate-owned radio station with the same old overplayed songs;
Refreshing is a station with a big variety and lots of surprises.
Stagnant is a formulaic power ballad that sounds as though it is 20 years old;
Refreshing is an original, new song with a jangly guitar, haunting slicing violins, and a startling piano.
Stagnant is a person who greets you with a blank stare;
Refreshing is someone who asks you a fascinating question
