I live in Jackson, Tennessee. There are a few famous people that you may have heard of that came from here. Ed "Too Tall" Jones, Cousin Tuney, Carl Perkins, and Casey Jones. Carl Perkins has a restaurant, here in Jackson that is named after him, It is called "Suedes". There is also a place called "Casey Jones Village". There is a restaurant, hotel, mini golf, train rides, gift shop, and more there.

Jackson has many things to do. We have a fairly large mall, many shopping centers, Wal-Mart, Sam's Club, many restaurants, and much more.

Jackson is a good place to raise a family. Jackson is located in West Tennessee. It is about 80 miles north east of Memphis. It is about an hour and half away from Nashville.

In the Mall of Jackson (Old Hickory Mall)

There are many stores that are in the mall. Some of the top stores are Goldsmith's, JC Penney, Belk, Victoria's Secret, Spencer's, Lane Bryant, and that is to only name a few. There is a food court set up in the middle of the mall. There is a S'Barro's pizza, Taco Bell, Chick-a-fila, Steak Escape and a Chinese place. There are
many stores in the mall.

There are some nice restaurants to go out to eat if you want some good food. Rafferty's, Long Horn, Cracker Barrell, Red Lobster, Lone Star, Chili's, Corky's, Barley's, and many more.


If you are ever in West Tennessee and you want to come somewhere. Come to Jackson!!
