Avoid! Poor quality sheets and expensive return policy.

Here's the review I wrote on their site about their 6 oz. Luxury Sateen Solid Flannel Bedding, which they never published.
I was *so* disappointed by these sheets. The description sounds great: "Luxury 6-oz. all-cotton flannel; special finish and process minimizes pilling, fading and shrinkage." But when I washed the sheets prior to use, in warm water, on the gentle cycle, and dried on low -- just as the label says, they came out completely pilled and rough. After *one* wash! I couldn't believe it. They looked worse than the over five-year old flannel sheets they were bought to replace.
Then, to add insult to injury, the return process was time-consuming, frustrating and costly, and has put me off ordering from The Company Store ever again.
I called to ask about how to return them, and was told by an oddly argumentative rep. named Lisa that "all flannel sheets pill", and that their policy is to refund the cost of the sheets but not the shipping. After I stated that the sheets were clearly defective -- or at a minimum not as described -- I was told they would refund the delivery cost but in any case the return shipping cost was mine.
Later, several days after they had received the return package, I called again because I hadn't yet gotten the credit, and was given completely different information from a second rep. She said that their policy is to send out a return shipping label, but that the outgoing shipping charge is not refunded -- only waived on a replacement order. The first rep. never mentioned or send me a label, and I didn't want a replacement (since they're likely to be defective/poor quality as well) so I'm still out return shipping cost.
Avoid these sheets unless you like pilled, rough, pool quality flannels, or don't mind an argumentative, frustrating and ultimately costly return process.
Coming here to write this just now, I've noticed another review with the same experience regarding the quality after one wash. I wish I would have seen that before I ordered!
