Hi again, amyk49.
You are so welcome! And I forgot to mention that you've done a great review on the machine! I've updated my review on the unit as well!

Cleaning the Heat Delector. (Reply to this comment)
by daquan
Hi amyk49.
I found this out just a while ago. You've written to hostmaster about the stains being hard to clean off the heat deflector. I've already shared this info with hostmaster and I'll let you know that the deflector can be cleaned with a non-abrasive cleanser such as Bar Keeper's Friend.
Just rub a little bit of this cleanser with a damp sponge or rag on the surface of the deflector, rinse clean and it should shine like it did when you bought the machine! I tried it and it worked for me! Good luck!

Like I Said, It's a Marvel in the Kitchen!!! Outdoor taste Without the Hassle! (Reply to this comment)

Dear amyk49,
You are one of the many who have truly discovered the beautiful results that this machine produces with roasted meats & poultry. It reeks with awesomeness!!
I'm roasting a chicken in mine right now! It
really cuts the fat! And it make food taste oh, so good! It costs only pennies to operate, and in my opinion, it does a much better job than my big oven! with the flat basket you can make oven fried chicken that isn't fried!
No temperature setting, no fancy gimmicks, just set it and forget it! It's a simple basic machine that gives amazing results, even a child can use it, with an adult of course! an indicator light lets you know that it's operating and when the unit shuts off, a bell alerts you that you food is done!
Yes, you can & will get carried away watching the suspended food as it slowly turns round & round on the spit. The fat drips into the tray while the meat browns evenly. The end results are amazing as you eat the awesomely roasted food. You'll feel good knowing that you have a healthy roast on your dinner table. And most of the fat is gone!
Clean-up is a breeze! If you have a dishwasher, most of the internal parts that come in contact with the food can be put right in the dishwasher, including the heat deflector! For an
added benefit, try lining the tray with foil to
make cleaning the tray even more easier!
Good luck and keep eating healthy. Daquan.
