Crutchfield.com provides excellent service.
I was shopping around for a new car stereo for my truck since the one I had was stolen. I had heard some great things about Crutchfield and decided to go online and check them out. I ended up buying a Kenwood receiver and one set of Polk speakers for my truck and one Kenwood receiver for my wife's car.
When ordering through most companies, you get exactly what you ordered. With Crutchfield you get much more. In addition to the stereos and speakers, I got the wire harness, installation kit and tools to remove the old stereo for both vehicles. I also received an antenna adapter for one vehicle and speaker adapters and brackets for the other vehicle...... ALL FOR FREE.
All of these additional parts would have cost me another $50 if I had bought my stereo's somewhere else. I also got got free shipping and received the package in 4 days.
I got detailed instructions on how to remove the old and install the new. Not being an expert, I did run into a few problems and had to call their Technical Service team. I believe this is the first time I have called a Tech Service desk that did not read from a script and seemed as helpless as I was. These guys were great. They knew exactly what the problem was. Here I thought I was doing something wrong and they were able to point out that it sounded like a fuse had blown. Sure enough that was it. Once I replaced that, I was on my way to hearing great sound quality in both vehicles.
I will not hesitate to use Crutchfield again. I highly recommend them.
