John Locke and Rain Go Together Very Well

The Bottom Line "Mr. Locke said a miracle happened to him..."

One of my favorite images from LOST is the iconic shot of John Locke on the beach, giddy as he gets drenched in his first rainstorm on the Island.  His curious relationship with rain continues throughout the series.  Here's a cheerful ditty about why John is so happy to get soaked, to the tune of Boney M.'s Brown Girl in the Ring.

John Locke in the Rain

John Locke in the rain,
Grinning at the sky.
John Locke in the rain.
What a happy fella!
John Locke in the rain.
Not sure how or why,
But he knows just when it’s gonna stop.
To the drop!

Miracles happen.
Yes, indeed, they do!
Oh, yes, miracles happen.
He’ll tell Walt about it.
Miracles happen.
He has been renewed
And he knows just when it’s gonna stop.
To the drop!

He was in a wheelchair.
Suddenly he walks instead.
He was in a wheelchair.
Suddenly he walks instead.

Does he know, had Jacob not been there,
He would probably now be dead?
Does he know, had Jacob not been there,
He would probably now be dead?

Miracle.  Yes, it’s a miracle.

John Locke in the rain,
Grinning at the sky.
Yes, it’s John Locke in the rain.
What a happy fella!
