Perfect Timing (Reply to this comment)

I didn't think about it when I started reading this book, but over the weekend I realized I would be able to review the latest Molly Murphy mystery on St. Patrick's Day. How appropriate!

My First Entry (Reply to this comment)
by carstairs38
Here's my first entry for your write-off. It's the Ireland entry in the Hallmark Doorways Around the World series:

Can't wait to read them, Beth! As for me, I'm looking forward to dusting off my Irish Rovers albums. I've also got Scots-Irish, and Scottish, and when it comes down to it I'm barely strictly Irish at all. But my name argues otherwise...

This will be a fun one. Of course I'm mostly Scots-Irish, but I did discover some pure Irish on my family tree back a few years ago, which made me happy. :-)
I've got two sure ideas for music already, and a couple of possibilities for books. Maybe this will jumpstart my writing!

I'm in (Reply to this comment)

One of my favorite authors write a series with an Irish immigrant to NYC as the main character. The latest book comes out tomorrow, making this an easy entry.
I'll see if I can come up with any more, but there's that one for sure.

Awesome, Nicole! I look forward to reading them! As for the poetry, I'm glad you like mine, but don't sell yourself short; I think you're one of the most poetic people I know!

I will most certainly be participating, but fear that I cannot compose poetry nearly as beautiful as yours. However, I do have a few music reviews in mind and will surely be examining books for the occasion.
Blessings,
Nicole
