I did have alot of trouble with my handera. One of which I did not mention was that with use, the virtual graffiti area was off-centered. This may have been a unique product defect of my own device.
What I like about the handera:
(1) high-res screen
(2) virtual graffiti
(3) cf and sd support
(4) fast machine
what I don't like:
(1) size and style
(2) cradle with serial port
(3) problems with software that i like to use, for example, fitaly. Also when I adjust the handera to low-res software, it is in such a tiny screen that it is useless. With the exception of "bug me," virtually all free-hand draw programs did not work.
I agree with you that font support is excellent, that all palm III accessories that I have tried works on the handera, and the expandability capability of the program is seemingly excellent. However, palm III stuff is becoming more and more outdated, and the support for expandability for most people means a memory card. There is more software support for the handera now than there was several months ago, but again not all programs are compatible. The buyer should determine beforehand if the programs he uses works on the handera. If it does, and if he can put up with the bulky size of the unit, I would recommend it.
I did not weigh the palm Vx and the handera. But when I carried the handera around in my pants pocket, it felt heavier than the palm Vx. Also, when you hold it in your hand, it is obviously not as nice as the palm Vx.

and frankly amazed that you had so much trouble with your 330. However, you don't provide much in the way of details about the device itself or in your discussions of what you like and dislike. What apps crashed? Did they crash in all three software modes? What are the available software modes? What about the higher resolution? What about font support? What about compatibility with III accessories? What about expansion (sure you mention CF and SD very briefly, but what does that mean to people)?
BTW, just out of curiosity, have you held a 330 and m505 at the same time? The m505 is heavier.
