Ebay is a great site, for buying and selling. It has an easy to use interface, and you can sell practically anything, from Books to Yu-Gi-Oh!! Cards. Even cars, on Ebay Motors. Pretty much anything. It can be linked directly up to Paypal (since Ebay own Paypal), for easy paying. Also, almost all the time there are listing promotions, so if your item does not sell, you do not pay anything. So always remember to look for those promotions. When selling remembers, there is a Final Value Fee, and that’s about 10% of what money you made.
When selling on Ebay for a living, get an Ebay Store. It allows you to list up to thousands of listing, and provides FREE marketing.
Ebay has a Seller Central, which includes what's hot. Never be selling out of fad items again. With Seller Central you know what will generate the most money.
Ebay as a buyer is also very good. There is Ebay buyer protection, so you can buy safely. And usually, the prices are cheaper on Ebay then anywhere else. You can also buy pretty much anything.
Overall Ebay is pretty much the best place to sell and buy on the Internet. When selling on Ebay, Amazon, and Craigslist, you can tell a significant difference in income. Same for buying things.
