This is the third book in the 'Guardian Cycle' series. The main character, Terrel, has been traveling all over the world, when he arrives in a desert area. When he arrives, the author introduces new characters, and these are integrated well not to interrupt the flow of the main story line. The people introduced go well with the story and are well written, and do not just stay in the background. The scene and landscape has brilliant description, and there are lots of new, original, and exciting ideas to do with the religion of the people and the four moons. The only problem with the story is that the latter part of the book is very similar to the other books in the series. It is really time for the author to try and bring a new main story line into the books, rather then re-writing the same one into different contexts. This works well, but becomes very noticeable toward the end of this book.
