poor customer service

I have been a long time Amazon customer. However, I recently had a charge appear on my bank statement from Amazon that I did not order. it came inat a time when I had placed a large order with Amazon and, had I not been paying attention, I would not have noticed the charge. Well, I've dealt with their customer service three times and keep getting told that they cannot find the charge. All they have to do is contact my bank and they will verify that the charge is there. Instead, they have asked me a million questions that have absolutely nothing to do with the situation in order for them to conduct an "Investigation" into the matter. Each time after this supposed "investigation" I get an email saying they can't find the charge. That's because they don't want to reimburse my money. I am totally fed up with this incompetence. Amazon is great when you are giving them your money but, when you have a problem, they are like slippery toads; just wriggling around the issue and resolving nothing. I think they want me to just give up but, I'm very persistant. This has left a bad taste in my mouth for Amazon. I recently bought the Kindle and regret that purchase after this experience.
