Pros:A Frequent Travelers Dream, aircraft safety that's easy to drag through airports
Cons:can be hard to maneuver, have to use lap belt to secure
The Bottom Line: Overall we are extremely satisfied with this device and if you travel by plane frequently with your child, then this is something you should consider.
A Must for Frequent Travelers (with Kids!)
***UPDATE March 03***********************************
I have received many e-mails with specific questions on this product. Hopefully this update will help.
1) The Sit N Stroll is EASIER to use if you buy a device such as the "Mighty Tight" We got ours from Babies R Us for about $18. This device takes the struggle out of tightening shoulder and lap belts. It also prevents the active toddler from unbuckling an aircraft lap belt.
2) Yes, there is more effort required each and every time you use the Sit N' Stroll because of the use of the over the top lap belt. However, despite what I've read in other opinions, it is not THAT HARD.
3) The seat is exactly 18". Some foreign carriers have coach seats that are 17.2" or 17.5". Not to worry, unless you're in a bulkhead (typically not allowed when traveling with children) the armrests should "give" enough to install the seat.
4) Many commercial aircraft aisles are also exactly 18" wide in coach. So technically the Sit N Stroll will fit down the aisle, but this can be a struggle. I usually carry it to the seat.
I hope this update helps!
Have a safe journey!

Do you take an infant or toddler with you when you travel?
Do you travel frequently?
Do you believe it is insane that most major airlines allow children under two to ride on their parents laps?
If you answered any (or all) of these questions in the affirmative then you should seriously consider the Sit N Stroll stroller car seat combination. This device was built with you, the one who travelers frequently with a small child in mind. This compact and easy to use device makes the hassles of flying with your toddler easier!
While preparing for our recent travels to Moscow we needed a car/plane seat that was portable, safe, and lightweight. We initially believed we would bring both a car seat and a travel stroller. The Sit n Stroll allowed us to significantly lighten our load without compromising safety or comfort for our 1 year old. The
Before leaving for Europe, we tested the device on a quick trip to Las Vegas. We found it easy enough to setup and install, although you must go through the hassle of installation each and every time you use it. That is to say, the seat is held to the vehicle by use of the lap belt over and across the seat, so each time you use it you must carefully install it (with your child in the seat). We made it though Vegass McCarran airport without much hassle, and had little to no difficulty with the rental car.
On our European travels, this device earned its expensive price tag. Just being able to stroll our son while on line to clear customs in Moscow (or any long line) made it worth the hefty price tag. This stroller is tough, as it was able to go up and down, curbs, uneven pavement, dirt and all sorts of hazards that would normally tear apart cheaper devices.
On our return the wheel flap broke off, and the manufacturer replaced the entire device and our only out of pocket expense with the freight to ship it back to Colorado. I would like to emphasize, the Safeline Corporation stood by their product and provided an easy replacement process to a seat that broke while under warranty!
Overall we are extremely satisfied with this device and if you travel by plane frequently with your child, then this is something you should consider. It is however, a bit of an extravagance, as it is expensive as we only use while
