It was January 13th, a fine sunny day, and I had a purchase to make. My purchase was inspired right here at Epinions by none other than the talented rngpie.
Sadly though on the day I was shopping the "Tumbler" I had ventured forth to purchase was out of stock. I also noted that I had clicked the link on Epinions(to support Epinions supports us all) to get there but was taken to the wrong item.
So instead I purchased the Tommee Tippee Tip it up Tippy cup and try to say that three times fast. :0) I was able though to set up an email notification of when the tumbler was back in stock so I could purchase that item as well.
Now this was the first time I had ever shopped here and I am sorry that I hadn't shopped here earlier because they have lots of great things for babies. Ah well, maybe I will have another someday and then I will be more the wiser about where to shop. :0)
So anyway, I noted that the shipping for Standard Ground was a flat rate $5.95. I decided because of that to order something else as well and since I was getting something functional I was going to go after something fun.
Even though my son just had Christmas and his birthday shortly after I figured another toy was a good idea but
had no idea what I was going to get for him.
I spent a short time browsing around and everything was really easy to find in the toys category. I also noted at this point that in addition to being notified when out of stock items come back in stock there were two other options.
I could add my selected items to my own personal gift registry or I could email this item to a friend. I found
both of those to be a great addition and the email to a friend is something I would find useful as often I will email myself links to things that I wish to purchase at a future time.
So after browsing around I settled on the Baby Gund mini pro- basketball, which is a soft plush basketball with a rattle inside. My son still loves rattles and this was also something he could throw. It is also machine washable. :0)
So my two purchases were in my virtual shopping cart and off I went to the checkout. I was using NetSpend for the purchase. You can see my review of them here:

It went off without a hitch. When I was done I checked my email and noticed I had a very nicely laid out order confirmation which included both items, the total for shipping and the total price paid.
My orders were shipped separately and it was only a few days after I ordered that they arrived. I was quite pleased with how fast they were delivered as I was very eager to give my son his new toy. :0)
Also each package had the standard packing slip in it which had details about the item in the box but it had something I didn't expect to get.
Each packing slip has a coupon code good for $5 dollars off my next purchase of $20 or more. This means next time, and there will assuredly be a next time, I shop there I can save a total of $10! I like that idea. :0)
This online store is a winner with me and I will be shopping there again and again.
