Pros:fast, trust, friendly, easy, online, convenient, cared about getting me a better loan
Cons:automation of progress, no one local, questions through call or email, refinance costs
The Bottom Line: Bottom line, I chose Quicken because they are a name I can trust, and I wanted a quick and convenient way to refinance my bad mortgage.
I am writing to let others know of my refinance experience with Quicken Loans. The loan process itself was done very quickly, and might have taken a total of 45 days from when I first called showing an interest in using Quicken. The process wasn't perfect, as there were a few set backs, but overall muchthe experience and service I received was better than any previous mortgage and loan experiences I've ever had, with the exception of Capital One auto finance I got with Carmax. There were a few times Quicken depended on their automation processes, which wasn't so perfect (i.e. esign vs print/sign). And, some things I had to just assume or figure out on my own, even after having a ton of conversations and initial back and forth. But, in the end (even after my old mortgage company screwed me one last time before leaving) I can say it was worth it all, and I'd recommend Quicken to my friends and family, and any others that don't necessarily need someone local to deal with and walk them through it all. *I received a gift card for writing this review, regardless of whether I had a positive or negative experience.
