We began the refinance process last year with another well known online mortgager but was shocked what little assistance or actual telephone contact we could get so we were forced to terminate the process.  So we attempted the refi process again this year with Quicken Loans, quite frankly expecting little better.  Let me say we were so happily surprised by the Quicken representative who obviously had a great deal of mortgage and customer relations experience.  She maintained daily contact with us by email as well as by phone from the start of our loan application through the closing of our mortgage.  We applied for a refinance to obtain a lower interest rate as well as consolidate an existing home equity loan.  There were some bumps along the way on our end that we thought might jeopardize closing, but through our processor's efforts and knowledge of mortgage products and the fact that Quicken is a direct lender, they were able to have our mortgage loan close when other lenders told us they would not be able to get approved.  Our loan closed in less than 30 days and closing was scheduled in the convenience of our home.  I would highly recommend Quicken Loans to anyone looking for mortgage products.  Bless you Quicken!
